Happy Birthday To My Girls!!! 5/29/2011

Morgan and Madison Turn 8 Today.. This brings up so many emotions for me.. I am very Proud of them and they are two very Great Ladies. They have taught me Patience, strength, and that I have to take everything one day at a time. I think Justin would agree with me fully. They are best friends, they do everything together by choice still :) Morgan is my news reporter and will keep me updated on the happenings of the other 2 girls often, and Madison is the one that is going to say something so funny me and Justin will be in tears. They are both Very fun girls, and as hard as it was for me thru the first 3 years I would do it all over again. Mom and Dad Love you and We hope you have the Best Birthday!

Race For The Cure

My very first 5K and my family was my cheering crew.

The race was awesome and to see so many people there to support the cause was really amazing. I jogged most of it, but did have to walk it out in a couple spots to catch my breath. But in the end I was very proud of myself. I finished at 37 minutes. My goal was under for 40, so i beat my personal goal. Yay!! I hope to improve as I go and be able to do in in under 30 next year. I had Laurie and Amy with me cheering me on the whole way and telling me I could do it. I was really greatful for them they totally could have dusted me and finished 10 minutes earlier but they didn't and they stuck it out and was there with me when i crossed my first finish line..

It was kindof a bummer to jog my little heart out only to get to the end and have to walk the finish line because of gridlock but I was still proud of me and was happy to have friends and family there to congratulate me. It was a great feeling to finish..

Parker's 10th Birthday!!!

I can't believe she is turning 10!!!!

She wanted a Justin Beiber birthday party. So we pulled it together and she had a pretty cute little Birthday..

She will officially turn 10 on May 8th, but her party day was today.. Glad she loved it and also glad it is over 8 girls singing Never say Never, WOW!

I would do it for her a hundred times over if it makes her happy though..

Easter Egg Hunting with the Family..

Fail Family Easter party.. It was really Great to see everybody. It seems like we get so busy we don't get to see everyone often enough, but when we do it is Great! The Kids did the egg hunt and they decorated sugar cookies. Parker took time and made the cute little Bunny.. They played o the playground and just hung out with Dad.. Mom is a little more Chatty .. HAHA!

Welcome Home Daddy!!!

Justin was sent to Alabama for work and the girls wanted to welcome him home. They made a little Banner and cards and even put out Punch and refreshments all on their own. It kindof frighten's me that they made red punch on their own but it is still very sweet . They Do Love Daddy!

Parker seems to think she is into Hosting and catering Parties she even put the punch in a bowl and places the chips and salsa in bowls.. What am i going to do with her?!?

Disneyland Vacation

Newport Beach.. LOVED IT!! I wanna do just a beach vacation.. It was a perfect day to be there.. The twins just standing on the pier watching the surfers and the seagulls.. :)

Parker volunteered in Tomorrow lands demonstration, it surprised me that she would quickly raise her hand to play the guitar.. CUTE!!

We waited longer to see Tinkerbell than we did to get on any ride.. HAHA!

Our Disneyland Vacation was a BLAST!!! WE ALL LOVED IT.. IT IS REALLY ONE OF THOSE WONDERFUL MOMENTS TO EXPERIENCE DISNEY AND TO SHARE IT, WHEN IT IS STILL SO MAGICAL TO YOUR KIDS.

They Thanked us everyday .. :)

My cute kids moved me everyday because they realized it is a Vacation that was meant just for them don't get me wrong me and Justin loved it as well, but a vacation centered around the kids.

Well I decided to get some new pictures of the girls, and they love getting all done up and playing like models so we made it into a girls day.. I had fun with them, even though Parker prefers serious shots.. HAHA! Just a few of my favorites...

Bear Lake

We took a quick trip to Bearlake and decided while we were there to take a few Family Pictures. We were looking for some good locations and found this old creepy house. We wanted to do pics on the front porch but the homeowner said to not walk on the property. BUMMER!

We did find this old one bedroom house we liked and got at least one picture. The weather was a bit cold and we were freezing so we had to hurry, we are going to have to try the whole family picture thing again.

4th of July celebrations...

We spent the morning at the Tooele Parade, which I always enjoy.. Then we went to lunch with Nikki and Danny and family and Aunt Wendy. Then we went back to Nikki's house where the kids went swimming. Then we went home and Bj and Amy came over for a visit and had Dinner and we did fireworks.. It was such a great busy day!

Grandpa Parker and Grandma Linda's Visit

Grandpa Jim and Grandma Linda came to Utah!!
Parker thought Grandpa was the silliest.. He had her laughing the whole time she was with him, She was nothing but Giggles around him. Grandma took her , Madison and Morgan to Boondocks, Swimming and we all went to lunch one day. It was a great week. Me and Justin went with them to Rodizio Grill and then there last night here we did a BBQ. It was a fun, busy week

We wish we could all spend more time with them. The girls were sad to see them head back to Des Moines. We love you both...

Parker's Birthday Camping Weekend

We went camping for Parker's Birthday that also happened to be the opening weekend for turkey hunt. The little buggers were elusive and the boys came home empty handed.

Justin and his new dog Gunner, he wanted a guys dog and after we searched KSL we found Gunner, He loved Justin instantly and doesn't want J out of his site when he went to take off on the four wheeler and Gunner ran along side for a while, Justin thought he was trying to bite the tires so when he stopped Gunner jumped right up and went along on back.

Parker woke up on her 9th Birthday Throwing up... She was in the bathroom and I could hear she was sick I stood at the door singing the birthday song to her. In between gags she was telling me to stop
mom... I told her when she came out we would bake her cake with a belly ache. HAHA! She knows mommy is teasing her, but she ended up still loving the weekend and got some really great presents.. Happy 9th Park.. I love you!

My Mom Badge!!

This is my Stomach.. It is my Badge I earned.. After 3 kids this is my new belly. I was fixing my makeup in the mirror the other day wearing a bra with no shirt (it was in the dryer) and Morgan sat on the edge of the tub watching and studying every stroke of mascara, and the sweep of blush rubbed on my cheek. She started to stare at my belly and then asked what the lines were. I told her they are the Marks you get when your skin has to stretch over the baby growing in there. I told her first my belly had to grow for Parker and then it had to grow all over again even bigger for her and Maddy to fit. My skin had alot of stretching to do to make her and Maddy both comfy at the same time.. She giggled about that. Then with a small smile on her face she sat and stared intently for a while I wondered what she was thinking and then she asked me, Mom which ones are mine? I thought it was the cutest thing. We can complain about our bodies changing and getting thicker and shifting into a less appealing package. I am proud to be a mom and I love to laugh at my girls and the things they say and do. I could hide my belly and keep it between the glimpses my girls catch and Justin,but I know us moms all have our Badge. That part of us that when we catch a peek in the mirror and sometimes even just stare at and wish it still looked the same as it did when we were 17 . It also reminds us and makes us stop and think about the moment our precious baby or babies were inside us thriving and we were anticipating the day we would look into their eyes and try to deside whether they resembled their Dad or their Grandma. The day they first walked or drew a picture of their first stick person and it was so exciting to us. The first day of school and we all stood their waving and then walked back to our car in tears wondering if they were ready. When the question was always, am I ready? I am embarrassed to share my imperfect belly, but so proud to have 3 perfect girls to show for it. This is my way of saying us moms all have something in common whether we are ready to share it or not, our MOM badge that even though we don't show it off, it's there.. Happy Mother's day Mom's.. LUV YA!

First Camping Trip of 2010

Our First Camping Trip of 2010, and Puppy Harley's first camping trip ever.. I hope she liked it cuz we will be doing it alot... We went to Grantsville Dam the weather was perfect and the girls had a blast.. Actually we all Had a blast.

Justin and Chris did some Kick boating, and not without adventure. They had a kick boat lose some air but these two managed to put their survival skills to work and still enjoy some fishing.. HAHA!

The Girls loved the four wheeler's they think that is the coolest thing ever.. Mom for sure needs some practice anything off the main road is a little beyond my skill level :)

Madison and Morgan waited patiently for someone to start giving rides again... and again... and again.. It was usually Aunt Deanna.

When Dad was off shooting mom let the girls get a little dirty and have fun.. Shhhh! don't tell daddy ;)
